New England/Hampton Hideaway
The landscape around this house blends perfectly with the natural landscape of this property. Our clients had a vision that was clear and perfect right from the start. Limestone slab steps take you right to the water’s edge and blend seamlessly with the Lake Ontario shoreline.
Dimensional steps in Manitou Range colour form a naturalistic staircase leading to an interlocking brick patio below. Their weathered appearance adds character and structure to the landscape. The grey, Brussel Block pavers in a Y-pattern create an interlocking brick patio that is flanked by granite boulders that act as a retaining wall across the front and sides. The clients wanted an exceptionally large and expansive patio that was elevated.
On the driveway, our clients decided to stack the arbor stones to create a striking visual element as you drive down the gentle sloping driveway. These stacked stones were place vertically to create a retaining wall and lends itself to both functionality and aesthetics. To complete the front exterior, custom tiles were placed on both the porch and the steps leading to guests to the beautiful front entrance.
